Celebrating 75 Years!

75th Anniversary digitalFor 75 years, Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church has been changing lives and impacting neighborhoods and communities in Chattanooga and around the world. On Palm Sunday, April 14, 2019, 75 years after its inaugural worship service (April 16, 1944), we will join together in praise and worship, remembering and anticipating. This will be a time of celebrating all that Wesley Memorial has been for the last 75 years, and all that this church will be as it continues to touch people and communities with the love of Christ for years into the future!

We hope you and your family will make plans to join us for this special day of celebration. The festivities will begin with worship at 10:30am, followed by a luncheon at noon. What a joyful opportunity to come together as we rejoice in God’s work in and through Wesley Memorial!

If you plan to attend, please email the church office

HOPE Community Garden

The HOPE Garden at Wesley Memorial UMC exists to bring together the community by providing opportunities to support a healthy lifestyle and to create greater access to healthy food options for all. The garden is tended by church and community members, and food harvested from the community garden is shared with the needy in our community through multiple feeding ministries. For more information about helping in the garden or to sign up for an individual plot, follow this link.

Wesley Memorial UMC seeks to offer the hope of Christ in loving community. We would love to have you join us on a journey towards greater meaning, purpose, and hope in your life! Many have already found this church to be a great place for personal connections and relationships that will last a lifetime, and we think you will too. Thanks for visiting our website. We look forward to seeing you!
